We have a few rules in youth group.
We are a youth group – we do things as a group.
We include everyone
No excluding yourselves

Let us know before you leave and who you are leaving with.
No gossiping about others in group or personal discussion.
We have a few recommendations for the youth group.
Volunteer to read, pray, setup, clean up.
Bring your own Bible.
Come on time...leave on time. 6:45 – 8:30
Our youth group is focused around worshiping God.

What is a proverb? A short saying that expresses a general truth
What is wisdom? “skillful living”
Dictionary.com – insight, ability to discern or judge what is right, true, or lasting
The ability to choose what is best, not merely what is right or wrong, good or bad.
Wisdom is skillful living.
Why do I want it? Avoid unnecessary heartache, to have a truly successful life, gaining wisdom is necessary for a growing relationship with Jesus

Anybody confused by vs 4-5?
vs 20 – gossip stops the fighting – problems with your friends fighting all the time? Quit gossiping.
27 – noteworthy – 2,5,8,9,10?,14,17,18,20,21,23-27 (business)

vs 17 – do you have friends who are sharpening you, or are they dulling you

vs 6 – sometimes we can make so many sinful choices that we are trapped by sin. The only option is to make another bad choice it seems. Continuing sinful habits leads to addiction.
Vs 11 – which one are you? Why is it wise to not explode in anger? It does feel good doesn't it?

vs 17 – How strongly does God hate it when children mock their parents?

vs 30 – Ladies, what are you investing yourself in? Men, what are you looking for in a lady?

vs 10 – Lord let me know the joy that comes from wisdom and knowledge
