Home Opportunity
Your home opportunity this week (and next week) is to read 1 John 1 at least twice. Here's a question for you to think through and answer while you read 1 John 1: If we have already been forgiven by God of all of our sins at our salvation, why does 1 John 1:9 tell us that we need to confess our sins and be forgiven still? (feel free to leave some thoughts in the comments)

Does not Paul say that,
"If we confess our sins, He (God) is faithful and just to forgive us of our sins." The passage says "IF we confess out sins..."
Our sins may have been paid for, but are they forgiven? Besides, we must have a close relationship with God, and even if we are Christians, if we are deep in sin, we can't have a good relationship with God.
Evewn when we get saved, God still hates sin.
We still sin and we need to ask forgiveness, concerning the "little" things.
